Welcome
My name is Louis Rojas, Owner/Photographer of Big Paws Photography. My goal is to capture images of dogs that will hopefully warm hearts and wag tails everywhere. Based out of Union, NJ, I specialize in fine art pet photography. It’s no mystery that dogs are not with us very long, so let’s create a beautiful, funny or inspiring tribute to our furry four-legged friends.

Inspiration
It’s incredible, it’s exclusive and it’s so fulfilling; that’s what the relationship between a pet and their owner is. That’s how the relationship between me and my Bernese Mountain dog Bosco was. I lost him to lymphoma when he was just three years old and it broke my heart. It inspired me to pursue pet photography. I guess I’m always looking for the sweetness of his soul, his loyalty, and his free, happy spirit in every other dog. When I see these qualities, I want to capture them for the lucky dog owner.
